Cassie a 27 years old woman fulfilled her dream of travelling the whole world solo, breaking all Guinness World Records and acceptance to the world of the National Woman’s History Museum. ” Expedition 196″ is a personal journal of Cassie in which she mentioned her whole journey.

She wanted to travel the world from her college life, where she focused on sustainable tourism. She saved money from babysitting jobs and lifeguarding summer jobs. Then she did a lot of 9 to 5 jobs in Washington but somewhere in her heart, there is emptiness, unfulfilled dreams. She soon quits her job and headed towards California to do some soul-searching.

After that she discovered the Guinness World Records had a grouping for the fastest time to visit all sovereign countries but setting a record is not that much easy. She wanted to do something unique and different from others also she wants to explore the whole world. She became an ambassador for the International Institute For Peace Through Tourism.

Her trip may look easy through the lens of a camera and social media but it’s not that easy in reality, she made thousands of mistakes and faces many challenges along the way. She spends $10000 on this adventure and accomplished her tour by completely following the rule of Guinness. She completed it in one and a half years.

In an interview, she was asked ” What does she hope others can learn from her adventure?”. She said, ” I hope my experience inspires others to not judge people and instead take the time to learn their stories, furthermore, she added I also hope it inspires them to dream big, achieve bigger, and feel the satisfaction of doing something all on your own”.
