Déjà vu: Re-experiencing the unexperienced!

Why do I sometimes feel that the moment I’m in right now has happened to me in the past? What does it mean when the same thing happens twice? Why do I feel like I’ve been here before?? If some of you guys are also experiencing such thoughts then you’re in the right place. Here you will find answers to your questions.

Deja vu is a feeling that you have witnessed or experienced a new situation previously. In short, your “now’ feels like already happened or already seen. Basically, it is a memory of something that has not happened yet or a memory of something that is happening right now.

When you experience deja vu, it feels like you know what’s going to happen a second or a few seconds from now. It is noted, that it usually lasts for 5-10 seconds.

I’ve had deja vu experiences, thousands of times in my life. While it is happening I already know exactly how my next 5-10 seconds of my life is going to go from now, from the actions and speech of the person in front of me.

Don’t confuse deja vu with feeling like you have done something before when you have done. Then you’re just experiencing something you have already experienced in your life, but if you’re feeling like you have already experienced this moment but have not in reality then this is called deja vu.
