Material Selection for Piping Systems

This standard covers the basic materials of construction for various piping
systems as governed by the fluid to be transported, and supplements the
requirements of piping codes ASME B31. The materials are also subject to the further requirements and limitations regarding chemical, mechanical and dimensional properties per specifications stated in this standard.
