Telecommunications – Underground Cable This standard prescribes Mandatory Requirements governing the design and installation of telecommunications underground cables.
Inter and Intra Building Fiber Optic Communication Cables This Standard prescribes Mandatory Requirements for Multimode Fiber Optic Cable parameters associated with On-premises inter-building and intra-building installations for all Data communications and Local Area Network applications. Other applications like PBXs, video and various multiplexing uses for short-length links may also be supported by this standard.
Telecommunications Outside Plant – Fiber Optics This standard covers mandatory requirements governing the engineering, design and installation of the outside plant portion of fiber optic cable systems.
Communications Pole Lines Saudi Aramco adopts General Telephone & Electronics (GT&E) Practice Series 621, POLE LINES, as that engineering criteria to be applied to Saudi Aramco Communications System installations with exceptions applicable to individual sections as listed in section two.

Circuit Quality and Performance This Saudi Aramco Engineering Standard (SAES) defines the parametersassociated with circuits used for data communication and specifies the standards to which dedicated, switched and supervisory (low speed signalling) channels are to be planned and commissioned, in terms of those parameters.
Circuit Measuring Techniques This Saudi Aramco Engineering Standard recommends the test equipment to be used for measuring the performance of data communications channels and the operating performance of data communications equipment. Also incorporated are methods of making these measurements, leading to fault-finding techniques and recommended practices for the preventative maintenance of data communication channels.
